Episode Intro: Living in the Possibilities

Every successful or accomplished person at some point asked themselves…”why not me?”

Roger Bannister was the first man to run a mile in under four minutes. But he held the mile record for only 46 days. Why? Because a new belief system around what was possible regarding running a sub-four minute mile was formed. This event redefined what is possible and created a paradigm shift for everyone.

We have the same opportunity to make a similar impact in our own lives and those around us. For our family, community and clients.

I remember when I was a kid…around 5th grade, I saw my sister get all sorts of academic awards. I saw how advantageous it was for her and how early academic success was going to pay off for her especially in high school. That’s all I needed. I remember asking myself…“why not me…too?” The next year (my 7th grade year), I got my first every 4.0. Before then, I was mainly a “B” and a “C” student. I, unknowingly at the time, created a paradigm shift for myself. From then on, I identified as an “A” student. But it all started because I asked myself…”why not me?”

Living in the possibilities is where the magic happens! What kind of paradigm shift are you creating for yourself and your family’s future generations? And what kind of role is this playing in creating your own identity?
