#MindsetCheck | How to Stay in a High Vibration to Attract the Life of Your Dreams

We’ve all had times in our lives when we felt like giving up…quitting…throwing in the towel. At face value, giving up seems like the easiest and most comfortable route. The truth is it’s harder in the long-run. Life has an interesting way of presenting you with the same choice over and over again until you make the decision to overcome and rise above your challenges. Am I right?

I heard Oprah say that our only quest is to make sure we stay in a high vibration. We’re all energy fields. Negativity cannot and will not attract positivity into your life. You’ve got to keep your energy field in a high vibration. So we must do things that keep us at a high vibration…meditation, exercise, whatever keeps you whole and connected. By staying in our highest vibration, we give ourselves the best possible chance to have the life of our dreams. 

So the question is then, how do you stay in a high vibration? What if you’re going through a difficult and challenging time? It’s not always easy. (On a side note, this is really what #MindsetCheck is all about. Recognizing when you’re not in high vibration and taking the steps needed to get you back to the place where magic happens.)

I had the honor of having Courtney Costello on our morning Clubhouse #MindsetCheck call and she shared her three P’s that are her guiding principles in 2021.

  • Patience – remember to be patient with yourself. We don’t know what we don’t know. Give yourself the space to grow without the judgement that comes when you compare yourself to everyone else.
  • Presence – be present in the moment, which is a form of meditation. Just for this 20 minutes between now and your next task, focus on what you’re doing right now. Set aside thoughts about future projects or past mistakes.
  • Playfulness – it’s important to laugh, joke around with coworkers and have fun because life can be

Usually, I’m interested in only taking action that creates immediate and an impactful difference in my life. However, it’s equally important to recognize the value of sitting still, finding peace and learning to surrender. There’s a playful dance between the ying and the yang that exists in every moment.
