In this episode of Behind the Scenes we were on location in Carlsbad as Video Sells Real Estate worked closely with realtors Lindsay Dunlap & Jen Koehnen to showcase this Carlsbad Penthouse with Ocean Views. We have worked with these amazing realtors in the past and their listings are eclectic, gorgeous and phenomenal, this team never cease to amaze me. Jen Koehen made an appearance on film acting next to featured actor Anthony (Lastname).
Our team of top-level videographers, Josh McMurtrie, drone expert captured breathtaking aerial and ocean views, Colin Leibold filmed all the behind the scene footage and Ryan Foss as Cameraman 1 were all able to fully express the amazing essence of this exclusive Carlsbad Penthouse with Ocean Views through their lenses.
On all our shoots I make it a point to prepare all facets of the process, from communicating through walkie talkies, prep team meetings and coaching the clients to ensure a productive and seamless day. Reviewing the shot list prior to filming ensures we’re all clear on our individual and collective roles and responsibilities for the day – making the day as efficient and productive as possible. The scrip and shot list are created by collaborating with the client and the subject matter in mind to meet the end goal, capturing the property’s features and aesthetics by producing an amazing video.
Depending on what the client is seeking to showcase, location of property and overall presentation of the video, there are times we incorporate actors. As a tool in capturing the daily life of a potential buyer this helps viewers imagine what living in the property would really be like. Since the location of this penthouse is in Carlsbad with amazing ocean views we wanted to showcase what activities one can enjoy by having Actor Anthony, skateboard, surf, riding the local metro and ending the day enjoying a sunset via rooftop with a nice glass of wine and great company.
