When I think about my girls, I think about their future. When I look into their eyes I see curiosity, exploration, and adventure, and I can’t help but find hope in that…knowing they are going to create a life of fulfillment, contribution…a life of connection. And for me, this all boils down to leaving a legacy for my girls. And what am I leaving behind once I’m done with my work here. What is the legacy that I’m leaving? This question always gets me through any challenge that I’m going through, and problem that I’m coming up against…I think about my legacy and how my girls will be impacted by it. I think about the bigger picture that doesn’t just include me but a greater group of individuals. So today’s challenges and problems kinda fade away when I focus on my higher calling. Whatever it is you’re going through today, it’s probably challenging, I get it. I’m not challenge-less or problem-free. But, if I focus on my legacy and I look at my girls…I remember why I’m doing what I’m doing. Then, the common daily challenges, even though they feel and seem overwhelming, if I choose to focus on my goals that will help create and leave a legacy that my girls and family can benefit for years to come…then those challenges and problems don’t seem so daunting anymore. #KatianaCapri#MakenaKingsley
