On The REAL Podcast, we sat down with the legendary Tim Kirk. Tim Kirk is a licensed Realtor and certified Military Relocation Professional (MPR). Tim served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he ranked Master Gunnery Sergeant (E-9). When Tim decided to retire from active duty, he began his next chapter in life in the world of real estate.
Being apart of the military, Tim was introduced to many different non-profits mainly focused on assisting veterans. Tim saw a need and wanted to help his fellow veterans’ transition back in society and started a non-profit in 2013 called Hire Our Heroes. Hire Our Heroes works to construct a holistic approach to lower veteran unemployment by providing training and education necessary to transition into a meaningful career.
Tim sits on the board of Hire Our Heroes as Vice Chairman. Additionally, Tim is involved with other non-profits such as; Fellowship Christian Athletes, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Honor Foundation and R.I.S.E. Tim also works as the Senior Project Manager on the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Program, where he’s involved in projects that assist some of America’s most severely wounded veterans providing specially adapted smart homes and home modifications.
“I find that it [giving back] is something very integral in who I am. I feel very blessed to be where I am at life. I want to give back to others that I think need that help.”
Not only does Tim work very heavily with military focused non-profits and the local community, he started his career in Real Estate a year after his time with the military back in 2013. During his last few years in the United State Marine Corps, Tim was working with the National Recruiting Operations and Consultative Sale team. He would recruit past military personnel to be apart of the U.S. National Reserve. During this time, he met a fellow veteran who was a Real Estate Agent and invited him to learn more. This would be the catalyst that would soon launch his career as a Real Estate Agent supporting his military and veteran 
community focus on finding their forever home. A forever home isn’t something U.S. Military families are use to given that they are always relocating and traveling every three years.
Tim has and continues to reach his goals plus 20-150% each year closing more than $70M in sales in 2018 while being a great asset in helping buyers and sellers achieving their goals in home ownership. As of two years ago Tim started and grew his solo Real Estate Career into a Team. Team Kirk, a part of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty, now has two agents, a Marketing and Operation Directors.
